Seasonal Reminder from the Code Compliance Department

Keeping  properties in compliance improves quality of life, increases property values and deters crime.  Sinton Code Compliance Department asks citizens of Sinton and residential and commercial property owners to be mindful of these common code violations.

 Responsibilities

 The purpose of Code Enforcement is to administer and enforce the City of Sinton Code of Ordinances  by enforcing the minimum requirements of: 
 

• Public health
  
• Safety and general welfare through structural strength
  
• Means of egress facilities
  
• Stability
  
• Sanitation
  
• Adequate light
  
• Ventilation
  
• Energy conservation
  
• Safety to life
  
• Property from fire 
  
• Other hazards attributed to the built environment
