Police Department Today

Servicing a community of just over 5,500 people, the Sinton Police Department is led by Chief Eric Blanchard.  We have 12 full-time sworn officers, three non-sworn employees.  We have two detectives, a school resource officer, a K-9 officer, and a records manager.  Patrol is managed by a patrol Sergeant and Corporal.  Administration and investigations are managed by the Chief of Police and a department Lieutenant.  We strive to work closely with our community stakeholders and residents.  Quality of life for all who live, work, and visit Sinton remains at our core.  How can we answer your call or need?  Contact us today

The Police Department utilizes six marked patrol units and bicycle patrols. Patrol is equipped with body cameras and electronic ticket writers. On average, the Police Department answers approximately 4,000 calls a year.
