Sinton Municipal Court COVID-19 Update

On June 1, 2021, the Sinton Municipal Court will begin in-person proceedings using minimum standard health protocols that are consistent with CDC guidelines and the Texas Supreme Court’s 38th Emergency Order.

All 2020 court cases will be re-scheduled.  You may receive a court date by phone and/or regular mail depending on the contact information available to the Court.  Due to the large backlog of pending cases it may be several weeks before you receive a notice of reset. You will be afforded the opportunity to arrange an alternate court setting by mail or in person.

In-person Proceedings

The court encourages only the Defendant appear to resolve their violation(s). Juveniles and people with disabilities can be accompanied by a legal guardian or caregiver.

If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, please call 361-364-2389 to speak with a court representative for alternative options regarding your citation.

Payments can be made in-person, online, by mail or by phone at 361-364-2389.

Please continue to monitor the City’s web page for updated information as required.
