Operation Blue Santa 2025: Let’s Bring Christmas Magic to Sinton Kids and Seniors!

Hello Sinton,
The Christmas holiday season will soon be upon us, and here at the Sinton Police Department, we are excited to officially kick off our annual Operation Blue Santa: Toys for Sinton Kids gift drive! Every year, our officers and staff look forward to partnering with you to help local families celebrate the true magic of Christmas.
Operation Blue Santa is coordinated and hosted by the Sinton Police Department, but it is entirely dependent on the goodwill and generous donations from our community.
For Families: How to Sign Up for Assistance
We are committed to reaching every child and family who needs assistance this year. Any local family in need can sign up for the program at the Police Department. We also adopt children referred to us by Sinton ISD campuses to ensure we reach those who need Blue Santa the most.
We do prioritize all children enrolled in Sinton ISD who apply, and we will also be working to provide holiday cheer for the elderly in housing with special fruit baskets.
Critical Application Details & Deadlines:
Sign-Up Dates: Applications will be accepted starting November 17th until December 5th.
Where to Apply: In person only at the Sinton Police Department.
What to Bring: Please bring a bill with your address and a valid photo ID.
For Our Community: How You Can Make a Difference
Operation Blue Santa would not be possible without your support. We are now requesting your generous contributions to ensure we have enough gifts and supplies for every child and senior.
We are seeking the following donations:
Toys: For children of all ages.
Gift Cards: Specifically for our teens, which allow them to choose something special.
Monetary Donations: These are vital for filling in any gaps we have for specific age groups or needed items.
Food Items: We are collecting non-perishable food items to create special holiday fruit baskets for the elderly in housing.
Partnering with Your Business/Organization:
Another simple way to help is to host a collection point! If you or your business would like to request a toy donation box to put out for the public, please contact us. We would be happy to deliver and pick up the box at your convenience.
Donation Location and Deadline
We are planning to distribute all gifts and baskets to families the week before Christmas. To ensure we have time to sort, wrap, and coordinate the deliveries, we kindly request all donations—both monetary and item-based—be submitted as soon as possible.
